Penthouse on the Roof

While I was in university, I attended a lecture given by an Austrian female architect – Elke Delugan Meissl (Pronounced: El-kee De-lu-gun My-zul). During the lecture, she presented and explained the design and construction process of her own house.

Today, when I saw Penthouse built on top of a roof of an existing building, I cannot help but be reminded of her ingenious and minimalistic design which I came to love decades before it occurred to anyone else.

Enjoy!
